Show or hide an object

To show or hide an object in your application

1. On the Toolbox in Microsoft® Expression Blend™, click the Selection tool , and then select the object for which you want to change the visibility.
2. Under Appearance in the Properties panel, click the arrow next to the dropdown box for the Visibility property, and then select one of the following options:
   • Visible  To show the object on the artboard.
   • Hidden  To hide the object on the artboard but allow it to maintain its layout proportions on the artboard.
   • Collapsed  To hide the object on the artboard in a minimized state so that it does not maintain its layout proportions.
